Kimberly N. Rothman is a partner at Miller Mayer, LLP and focuses her practice in the areas of trusts and estates, real estate and municipal law. Ms. Rothman advises clients in all aspects of estate planning, with an emphasis on drafting wills and trusts tailored to meet the particular needs of each individual, including protecting and providing for family members, carrying out charitable intentions, and minimizing estate taxes. She also represents buyers and sellers of residential and commercial real estate throughout Tompkins County and the surrounding areas and several local lending institutions making residential and commercial mortgage loans. Additionally, Ms. Rothman’s work includes a dynamic municipal law practice, in which she advises municipal clients on a wide variety of issues, from local governance, to public finance and taxation, to the development, implementation and enforcement of various local laws.

Ms. Rothman is a founding member of the Finger Lakes Women’s Bar Association and currently serves as the Treasurer of that organization. She is also an active member of the New York State and Tompkins County Bar Associations and the Estate Planning Council of Tompkins County. She earned her law degree in 2003 from Harvard Law School and her undergraduate degree from Cornell University. Ms. Rothman is admitted to practice in New York and Massachusetts.
