Rosanne Mayer (rm@millermayer.com) is a partner at Miller Mayer LLP. She graduated with distinction from Cornell University in 1975 and received her J.D. from New York University in 1978. Prior to joining the immigration group at Miller Mayer, Rosanne practiced in the area of litigation at law firms in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Ithaca, NY, and with the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. 

Rosanne’s practice is exclusively immigration and focuses primarily on business-based matters. Her clients include both large and small companies and individuals in the high-tech, academic and medical fields. She represents clients pursuing employer-sponsored immigrant and nonimmigrant visas, but also self-petitioning clients, especially individuals filing National Interest Waiver petitions. She also represents a number of health care providers and physicians pursuing J-1 waivers and work authorization. Rosanne also represents individuals in family-based matters and naturalization applications.

Rosanne also is active in Bar Association matters, serving on committees of the Tompkins County Bar Association, and on the House of Delegates of the New York State Bar Association. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and has served on the Issues Development Committee.
