We have assisted clients in a variety of financing matters, including representing corporations
in the issuance of tax-exempt bonds and commercial bank mortgaging of real property. We have provided the legal work for both individuals and entities engaged in major acquisition and construction projects, such as the financing and construction of new hospital wings, skilled nursing facilities, apartment complexes, office buildings and the like.

Tax Exempt Bond Financing

We have assisted clients in a variety of financing matters, including representing borrowers and lenders in the issuance of tax exempt bonds and commercial bank mortgaging of real property. We have provided the legal work for both individuals and entities engaged in major acquisition and construction projects, such as the financing and construction of new hospital wings, skilled nursing facilities, apartment complexes, office buildings and the like. We bond transactions and other sophisticated commercial lending and the complicated due diligence and document preparation which they require. We are comfortable that we can work efficiently and effectively no matter what the project or how it is financed.

We recently served as counsel to the letter of credit bank on an approximately $70 MM tax exempt bond financing for a new continuing care retirement community. This particular project will be the first of its type in New YorkState. Our extensive knowledge and understanding of both the regulatory and financing issues for such a project supported the finance team to achieve a smooth closing process.
