Mr. Reed concentrates his practice in intellectual property law. Mr. Reed has extensive experience in representing clients in all phases of intellectual property law including: patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, unfair competition, intellectual property litigation, and business and commercial matters related to intellectual property.
 
Mr. Reed’s experience includes preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications, licensing, litigation as well as related commercial and business matters as they relate to intellectual property law, both domestic and foreign. His patent prosecution experience includes preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the digital, electronic, optical, software, computer, mechanical, business method, medical device and semiconductor arts. Mr. Reed’s patent prosecution experience also includes managing prosecution of foreign patent applications, including opposition proceedings in the European Patent Office. 
 
Mr. Reed’s litigation experience includes representing clients in court from initiation of an action to jury verdict and post judgment appeal, as well as managing as in house counsel major intellectual property law suits.
 
Mr. Reed acquired his experience while working in both a law firm and corporate setting. Mr. Reed is registered with the United States Patent Office as a patent attorney and admitted to the practice of law in New York and California.
